Today is (hopefully) the first day of tile installation, and also happens to be a very slow day at work. As a result I'm feeling incredibly impatient. I'm constantly checking the clock, waiting for it to be time to go home and check out the progress. 2:23 pm has never felt so much like 6:00 pm.
I have a feeling that I might be feeling this quite a bit this week, and the next few to follow, but that's only because big things are about to happen. In addition to tile, we expect cabinet installation to happen this week. Then templates for our countertop will be made October 17, with the counters installed on Halloween!
